John Harrison is an author, creator, and business strategist whose work brings imagination and practical problem-solving together.

He is the author of the Shadow Saga—Shadow Dance, Shadow Play, and Shadow Flight—as well as Lanterns in the Snow, the Whispers Through the Veil poetry collections, and What Smart Businesses Do: A Recession Marketing Playbook. His creative work also includes the Powers That Be role-playing system.

Beyond the page, John’s background spans operations, human resources, consulting, marketing, and content creation. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Management from Boise State University and is a U.S. Army veteran with Airborne Ranger experience.

Through House of Harrison, John brings these disciplines together. He offers business consulting, including coaching support for owners and leaders, author coaching and editing for writers, and speaking and consulting for organizations looking for a practical way forward.
